Mission Statement
Our basic goal is continuous improvement all aspects of our business -
innovative designs, product development, response to changing markets,
customer feedback and support, and business efficiency.
Background
ionode was founded in 1972 by inventor John Petty in Brisbane,
Queensland AUSTRALIA. The company centralises on the manufacture
of quality pH and ion selective electrodes. Over the years innovative
improvements have been made to the manufacturing process, such as automation
of the glass blowing process and reference element fabrication. Plastic
components are mass-produced using state of the art injection moulding
techniques. All this adds up to a quality product at an affordable
price.
In addition to potentiometric sensors, ionode is involved in
the development of new automated instrumentation for water analysis.
Considerable effort has been directed toward development and commercialisation
of Discontinuous
Flow Analysis (DFA), a form of flow analysis with more emphasis on
system calibration and diagnostics. With over 40 years combined experience
in the field of water analysis between three chemists there are constantly
new ideas being tested and proposed for commercialisation. Contact
