ORP ELECTRODES Ionode offers a range of ORP electrodes for use in various applications. In the majority of applications, pure Platinum is used as the sensor element. In some cases, such as the measurement of ORP in Cyanide solutions, Gold is often preferred. In this case, a Gold ORP electrode such as the IJ Au is available. The IJ Ag uses a silver billet as sensor and can be used for determining the activity of silver ions by direct or indirect potentiometry, and for determination of halides and cyanide by argentimetric titration. The most common application is for determination of chloride or salt in environmental and food samples by titration with silver nitrate.
* Note: The IH31 requires a separate reference electrode.
